Accordian Files

These file folders are so simple to make, all you need is 3 sheets of 12x12 cardstock and 2 sheets of 12x12 PP. Easy peasy. Hope everyone had a great time Friday night making these.
Here is a quick overview to make one. Cut 1 piece CS to 9 1/2x12 and score it at one end 2 inches and 4 inches from the top, flip to opposite end and score at 1 inch.
Cut 1 piece of your PP to 9x12 score it at one end at 2 inches and then again at 4 inches now flip the PP to the opposite end and score it at 1 inch.
Take the remaining piece of CS and cut it to 8 1/2 x 12 and score it at 2 inches on one end. Cut another piece of PP to 8x12 and score it 2 inches on one end.
For the last piece of CS cut 2 6x12 pieces and score each piece every 1 inch and then fold accordian, the longer pieces of the CS and PP are the 1st one's to work with adhere PP onto CS and the remaing PP and CS will be adhered to each other.
Next we will put it together the longer pieces are the back of the folder take a bone folder and make nice crisp folds where you scored it then take the shorter piece and do the same, here is the tricky part put a strong adhesive of the longer piece at the 1 inch score on the PP side next line this up with the shorter piece where it is scored at 2 inches this is the bottom of the folder next attach the accordian folds to the inside of the longer piece one of each side using strong adhesive and then attach the accoridan folds to the front short pieces. Next punch a hole in each end at the top and affix an eyelet and use ribbon for the handle. I used a scollop as my folder holder, LOL! added a piece of velcro on the scollop and onto the folder itself so that it can be closed.
I would love to see the one's you create.
Have fun!
